On May 28, 2026, the China (Tai'an)—Central and Eastern Europe Agricultural Industry Promotion Event was grandly held in Tai'an. As a leading representative enterprise in China's "smart granary" sector, Shandong Shelley Grain Steel Silo Co., Ltd was invited to participate in this event; the company's Chairperson, Jin Chuanli, attended and delivered a speech. Drawing upon the company's firsthand experience in "going global," she vividly presented Shelley Granary's explorations and achievements within its global strategic layout to an audience comprising government representatives, university experts, and entrepreneurs from various Central and Eastern European nations, earning widespread acclaim from the attending guests.

This event coincided with the convening of the 7th China–Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Local Leaders' Meeting and the 2026 Shandong International Sister City Cooperation and Exchange Week in Shandong. As a key component of a series of promotional activities for agricultural cooperation, a delegation from the "China–CEEC Alliance for Innovation in Modern Agricultural Science and Education" visited Tai'an to participate in the China (Tai'an)–CEEC Agricultural Industry Promotion Event. Cooperation signing ceremonies and project launch ceremonies were held on-site; specifically, the Tai'an International Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the General Chamber of Commerce of China in Europe, and the China-Hungary-Baltic Agricultural and Food Innovation Center was officially inaugurated. The realization of this series of tangible outcomes marks the deepening and solidifying of cooperation between China and CEEC countries in the agricultural sector.
During the address segment, Chairperson Jin Chuanli, under the theme "Connecting the World through Granary Technology," shared the journey and philosophy of Shelley Granary—specifically, its deep-rooted commitment to the field of grain storage and its dedication to serving clients worldwide.

In her address, President Jin stated: "Food security is a matter of paramount national importance, as well as a shared global concern. Shelley Silo has consistently focused on the R&D and manufacturing of grain storage systems, dedicating itself to providing safe, efficient, and intelligent grain storage solutions to clients worldwide." She further noted that Shandong Shelley Silo Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.—established in the Tai'an High-tech Zone—is a high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of grain storage equipment. Its product portfolio encompasses steel silos, spiral steel silos, bolted silos, and complementary conveying and cleaning systems, which are widely utilized in settings such as grain reserve depots, flour mills, feed mills, oil processing plants, and port terminals.
President Jin emphasized that the growth of Shelley Granary resonates in perfect synchronicity with the global expansion of Chinese enterprises. To date, Shandong Shelley Grain Steel Silo Co., Ltd has constructed grain storage facilities with a total capacity exceeding 10 million tons across 63 countries and regions worldwide. She laughingly described herself as a "Backpack Hero" and a "Lone Ranger": "As a female entrepreneur, if you want to venture abroad, you must have the courage to fight for it. We have a multitude of overseas clients—for instance, the moment a client in Uganda, Africa, calls, I fly there immediately. From technical negotiations to the finalization of project proposals, I am fully capable of handling the entire process single-handedly." Drawing upon her own experiences, she encouraged more Chinese enterprises to boldly step beyond national borders and actively engage in international competition and cooperation.

Speaking on the Central and Eastern European market, Ms. Jin expressed a strong desire for cooperation. She noted that the region is endowed with superior agricultural resources—traditionally known as the "Granary of Europe"—and shares a high degree of complementarity with China across fields such as modern agriculture, food loss reduction, and smart warehousing, offering vast potential for collaboration. Leveraging its technical expertise in grain storage and extensive global service experience, Shelley Silos stands ready to actively participate in agricultural industry cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European nations. The company aims to provide "Shelley Solutions"—thereby contributing Chinese wisdom—to assist these countries in enhancing their grain storage and procurement capabilities and in minimizing post-harvest grain losses.
Ms. Jin’s remarks garnered a positive response from the Chinese and international guests in attendance. Representatives from several Central and Eastern European nations indicated that grain storage and loss reduction constitute a key direction for bilateral agricultural cooperation; they expressed their eagerness to engage in in-depth exchanges with outstanding Chinese enterprises—such as Shelley Silo—to jointly drive the implementation of pragmatic collaborative initiatives.
The staging of this promotional event comes at a pivotal moment, coinciding with the deepening of agricultural cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. Prior to this, from May 27 to 28, the "Shandong–CEE Modern Agriculture Promotion and Sharing Session" was successfully held in Liaocheng City, where representatives from over a dozen nations—including Greece, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Slovakia—gathered to engage in in-depth discussions regarding new opportunities for modern agricultural development. On May 26, the 2026 Annual Conference of the China–CEE Modern Agricultural Science, Education, and Innovation Alliance took place in Jinan, during which a number of international joint laboratories and cooperative initiatives were announced. These intensive activities centered on agricultural cooperation and exchange underscore the firm commitment of China and CEE countries to deepening mutually beneficial and win-win partnerships in the agricultural sector.

As a representative of the high-tech enterprises homegrown in Tai'an, Shelley Granary has made grain storage its core strategic focus, continuing to write a brilliant chapter in the "going global" journey of China's agricultural technology sector. In his concluding remarks, President Jin stated: "Riding the favorable momentum of deepening agricultural cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe, Shelley Granary will engage in broader and deeper collaboration with our partners in the region—spanning technology exchange, talent development, and joint project construction—leveraging 'Chinese Quality' to bolster food security in Central and Eastern Europe, and harnessing the power of technology to build a prosperous future together."
