cone bottom silo?is also called hopper bottom silo?which?is the steel silo with a cone bottom. cone bottom silo?is?often?erected on the supporting structure to make the delicate products unloading easily through gravity. the hopper, rings and support steel are made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. in generally, free flowing pellet products like corn, wheat, soybean and feed pellets require the hopper bottom silo with a 45° angle while powder or other material which is hard to flow fits ?60° cone bottom silo storage. the volume of shelley brand cone bottom storage silo?ranges from 20m3 to 1,875m3.
we just shipped the?cone bottom silo for?pellet storage to qatar. the volume of the hopper silo?is about 200m3, the cone bottom silo is used for sulphur pellet storage. since the density(t/m3) of the sulphur pellet is a little bigger than normal pellet like corn, wheat, rice, we designed and fabricated the thicker steel sheet for this project. the cone bottom silo?body, hopper silo roof and silo hopper are all made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets. then it will reduce the possibility of sulfur corrosion. the grain silo legs are made of carbon steel sheet with paint.
