This project is a 4-5500 ton corn silo supporting equipment project built by COMAIZ, the Mexican agent, in Mexico. The project adopts advanced steel silo complete equipment storage solutions, effectively utilizes warehouse land, saves land area, reduces the number of workers, and realizes the automated management and transportation of materials from storage, transportation, and production. It solves customers' pain points in one stop and brings long-term benefits to the company.
The project workflow is:
4-5500 tons corn silo, grain is transported to the elevator through the grain unloading pit. After the cleaning process, the elevator transports the grain to the top, and cooperates with the scraper and electric tee to transport the grain to two rows of steel silos. The silo is equipped with ventilation and temperature measuring devices, which can detect the temperature and humidity changes of grain in the silo in real time to achieve the purpose of safe grain storage. When the grain is out of the silo, the scraper at the bottom of the silo transports the grain to the designated location.

The silo roof cover is δ1.0mm hot-dip galvanized sheet, and domestic high-quality hot-dip galvanized sheet is selected. Natural ventilation windows, manholes, and ladders are set on the silo roof. The silo roof is sealed with aviation glue and waterproof gaskets, and safety guardrails are set around the silo eave.
Silo: The wall material is made of high-quality hot-dip galvanized coils from large steel mills. The double-sided galvanizing amount is 275g/㎡, and the final galvanized layer is continuous, smooth and uniform. The corrugated plate is punched. The joints of the silo plate are sealed with aviation waterproof glue strips; the columns and silo walls are connected with high-strength special customized anti-oxidation film special coating bolts.
Shipping and installation services
After the project was processed in our factory, it was shipped to client’s site through logistics. After the goods arrived at the site, installation personnel would be sent to the project site to unload the truck and complete the installation and commissioning of the project. With the cooperation of both parties, the project was successfully installed and received praise from our client, who gave high praise our company and our on-site engineers.
